Question about bloodwork

posted 12th Feb
I had my prenatal bloodwork done at 6 weeks 6 days. I went in for my appt today (10 weeks 6 days). Most of my bloodwork was fine but my midwife said my thyroid levels were "very low".

She had me repeat the blood work. Can anyone explain to me what thyroid levels mean? Like if its low, what could be issues? What will they do to try and correct it? Could it cause issues to the baby? Is there anything I do to cause it to be low?
