cant take much more

i have been to the solicitors today to file for divorce, a smooth case as i have plenty of grounds to file, i wasnt going to go down the contact route as i had an arrangement with his parents, that was until i got back in to find i had several abusive messages from some random girl who i have only met once, she was accusing me of being the one in the wrong and some awful name calling, so with this i rang his parents and say "look im not being funny but he is now spreading malicious stories about me so i do not want him seeing the kids at all so if you want to see the kids could you come to me instead of me sending them some where i am not comfortable with" their reply is "well he doesnt want to see them anyway because he doesnt trust you" wth, HE doesnt trust ME, he was the one screwing about.

so how to i go about terminating his parental rights, we we married and he is on the birth certificate, can i terminate them and him still provide or once they are gone he has nothing to do with them even financially

You can't sadly. He could sign away his rights but only if you have a father figure to take his place.

Getting a TPR is usually very difficult to do. Once it is achieved, he will free of absolutely any obligation to the child meaning he doesn't have to help you with anything, even financially. It also means that he can't be around the child as well. You can't just get it done at request though. It involves a lot of court hearings and a lot of proof that he would be completely unsuitable around your child, and for the most part he has to be wanting the TPR. Usually in custody cases it's only granted in cases of extreme abuse or neglect...

I just recommend to try to go for no visitation rights. I have sole custody of my son and BD has nothing. It gives me the freedom to decide everything for my son and BD still is required to support.
