37 weeks... a little TMI

Im on bed rest for type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. Yesterday my doc checked and for the second week in a row I was not dilated at all. Very disappointing. He told me that if there are any changes in my bp or urine proteins he will induce before 39 weeks. As much as I want her in my arms, I would rather go into labor naturally. So, I asked about having sex since Im on bed rest. He told me to go for it. As much as we want. So last night we did and we even used my vibrator (bliss..   ) And afterward my SO said I had a lot of mucusy discharge. Then I took a hot bath and went to bed. Later that night in my sleep I had some uncomfortable contractions. Not painful. Then this morning my SO used the KY and checked my cervix. And he said he can feel that its softened up and that its started to open. So then we had sex again and afterward I noticed a little bit of blood when I wiped, more like a dot really. So I think I may have lost my plug last night, most of it anyway. Im hoping to progress more and have her this week. But will be happy to have her whenever she feels like coming.

I realize that I still have a little over 2 weeks to go. But both my previous pregnancies were 2 weeks early. One induced, one naturally. And this baby is measuring bigger. As, far as my plug regenerating I know this too but hopefully regular sex will keep us progressing.
