whats wrong with people...

Just had a baby 4 weeks ago. Donor took off when i was 6 months preggo... gave him every chance to be a part of it with dr appts but there was always an excuse why he couldnt make it. Well i didnt even let him know when my son was born and he waited until a week after i was due to ask if he came yet.... well i met him Thursday so he could see him and he bought a couple outfits. We planned for him to meet us sunday.... he waited until 5pm with the excuse his gf had the car all day..... well i get a text from the bitch yesterday going off on me cussin me callin names and how she is gonna make sure he gets his visitation... this coming from a girl who doesnt even have custody of her own kids who im hearing has been to jail he is known to be on drugs... he has sores all over his arms he has lost a crap load of weight... well i didnt give the girl the satisfaction of getting me going so i blocked her and his # from my phone and blocked them both from facebook..... was i wrong for doing so? If they are gonna threaten court do it then!!!

I don't think you should have blocked his number if he wasn't calling you names or cussing you out... but her number and facebook sounds like the right thing to do.

Block her not him. Atleast not his number so he has a way of contact.

For sure don't let baby go with him. Sounds like he's shooting up something.

I may unblock his # in a day or 2 just to let him no im not messing around and he needs to keep a muzzle on her! She has nothing to do with my son and i will fight to keep my son safe and away from them! He wants to meet out in public ok but he will not take him

I'd block them both. I thinkt he last thing your LO needs is to be around junkies.

I'd go to the court house today and get custody under control.

Paternity has to be established and since im still legally married my husband has to get a dna test to clear himself even though we all know its not his... but you have to motion the courts for all that visitation stuff and i am not paying for it!

There's way around that. Go to the courthouse and see what they offer. Is your DH on the birth certificate?

Nobody is on the birth certificate.... no ways around it one of us would have to motion the courts and its like $200 my husband was gonna do it for visitation with our daughter....

And if my sons dad wants the visitation he better be ready for a fight because i will pull out everything i have on him.... drugs have been an issue with him for awhile... he was discharged from the army for failing a drug tedt....

Okay. Why don't you be the one to motion the courts for them to pay for it.

He still has a right to see his kid...

My ex got out of prison, on parole, for fire arms and intent to sell, was charged but not convicted of car jacking... never saw the kid for 3 years cuz he was in and out of jail and denyed him anyways, got dna test ordered and got 50/50 custody... all of this happend when I was cleaning up my cases which happened to be intent to sell and under the influence, all I had to do was pass drug screen, which I did, but if I hadn't they would have just put me in rehab... they wouldn't have taken him away, so I doubt they won't grant him visitation if he's asking for it.

as long as he wants to see his child and be there for him then let him, just let him know that there will be absolutely no drugs or anything around the baby. yes of course he can fight it, as long as he can prove that he is clean and is stable then he can get visitations if not at least supervised visitations. My friend's brother and SIL got their kids taken away because of drugs, but since they are now clean and have passed their drug tests, they have both their kids back.
