As the other lady said, they'll tailor the education to meet her child's needs.

My niece is autistic and has never had any specialized therapy for autism. Speech therapy and an ot.

She's 5 now and you'd never think she was autistic.

Again, maybe she doesn't want to discuss her child with you.

I was able to get a referal to a developmental pedi for my son but it had nothing to do with Early Intervention, I got it from his regular pedi because I asked for it. He was only about 2 at the time and even without getting a diagnosis from them the report we got was really useful for me and all of his therapists.
