My baby won't take a bottle
posted 12th Feb
My daughter is seven months old and has been breasted since she was born. I have tried for several months to try and get her to take a bottle by doing it only a few times every couple of weeks. I have changed my bottles, teats and even tried a sippy cup and she still won't take the bottle. I have also tried warming the teat up under a tap and cooling it in the fridge.
I'm stuck and really struggling with this problem.
Can anyone help?

I had the sane issue. I bought the lansinoh momma bottle and he took it right away. I would highly recommend them to anyone

Have someone else give it to her while you're out I'd the room. I had the same problem, DS wouldn't take it from me because I have the boob. So at first I couldn't even be around while DH gave it to him.

Don't have much advice. My 6 month old JUST started taking a bottle. I tried since she was 2 weeks old. I even bought expensive bottles..... nothing! I was in the family dollar a few weeks ago and seen a $2 bottle - I grabbed it for smurfs and giggles.... And, let me tell you...SHE TOOK IT!!!!!!!! All that money on expensive bottles and she wants a $2 bottle! I really didn't wanna go the bottle route either - I wanted sippy cups.. but, hey, we made progress. Hopefully this means there is a date night soon for my husband and I.
