wishing these meds would work..

Been taking lexapro 10 mg and ativan up to 2 mg a day... I dont feel like its working... I got pregnant and stopped the pills, then restarted them when the pregnancy ended. Was off of them for a month or so... I dont know what to do. Im so anxious and worried and.. blah

Lexapro is escitalopram, right? If so I'm on another brand of it too. How long have you been back on it? it can take a while to really start working again.

Tell your Dr that it's not working. I had been taking meds for 7yr on off of different kinds. Then my Dr had me try a new one after this pregnancy and now I finally know what it is supposed to feel like when they work. Your body can change after a baby so maybe it's time try something else.

I was taking citalopram (celexa) for months.. at least 6 months, and at the max dose, it started not working as well, so we switched to escitalopram (lexapro), and I took for about a month, and it was working perfectly at 10mg, which is small. I ended up having an unintended pregnancy, and i got off my meds because I was planning on keeping the pregnancy, but I changed my mind and got a termination.. Right after that, I started the lexapro again.. Maybe given the situation, my anxiety is normal. =-/ idk.
