Ugh...

So BG ladies... I am a horrible person. If some of you remember from last week I had posted a topic on a family member who gave my DD coffee. Well I had no idea that the post would end up posting on my Facebook wall. I haven't been on here in a while and things must've changed... So, family members seen this post I has written, and are now furious with me and had told the family member who gave DD coffee what I had written and that I put out there that he is a horrible person and I was rude about him on here. I was bashing etc... There is a few that are with me and had heard about the posting And are okay with what I had written. The actual family member I had wrote about is very upset, and I had hurt his feelings. I have not talked to him yet because I am scared of confrontation. Yes I was concerned for my DD who was 11 1/2 months but I did not bash him in anyway. I just don't know how to bring it up when u decide to apologize (which IMO I shouldn't have to for asking you all an educated question. I was really close with this person he accepted me as his own from day one. I've never meant to hurt him in anyway. I just wish the person who told him would've minded their own damn business, and let me explain things before telling him. I honestly don't know what to do...  

Yeah if it's connected to you're fb you have to untick the post on facebook box before posting....i hate that feature to be honest.

Youre not a horrible person. He's an idiot for giving an 11 month old coffee, for christs sake.
Talk to him. Apologize for not coming to him first and let him know you were just venting.

Just to clarify. Did it just show up because its connected or did someone from bg personally contact him?

The longer you let it fester, the worse the conversation will be. I would just let him know that you weren't trying to bash him, or be mean, you honestly were just worried about your LO and wanted to ask some questions about it.

It showed up on Facebook and my SOs cousin told his father and therefore he told the person. He had given her 2 gulps. I've now learned to make sure I un tick omit before posting... I hate the feature with a passion!

I remember seeing that post. All you did was vent a lil cuz you didnt know if it would hurt your baby. You didnt know what would happen anymore then than when your post got put on fb. Maybe when you have to talk to him just explain this was supposed to be to people you dont know in real life cuz you were genuinly concerned. Do you know if he has actually seen the post or those telling him blew it outta proportion? Sorry that smurf happened, hate people are making you uncomfortable about it, but maybe people wont give your kid anything without checking with you first.

I will talk to him, hopefully he stops by tomorrow night like he usually does for the hockey game. I hope it makes a difference but I think the damage is done.  
Cause from what I heard from my MIL is that the ladies that commented were rude, in which I didn't or she didn't find any of them rude, just voicing their opinions and are entitled to.

Yes I grabbed her and said "no more" but she was begging for more and I did not want her having it again.

My wifi sucks here tonight, if I don't respond back I'll post back in the morning. Thanks in advance for making me feel a bit better. And this time I unchecked the post on facebook box so I won't get hounded out more.
