I think I'm getting the hang of this!

Been working with manual mode on my Canon T3, and I'm finally getting the pictures to not come out black, LOL. While they could look better, I'm at least getting somewhere!  


Oh and, my kid is adorable! LOL

I wish I could get the hang of photography. I've never had a nice camera or someone to teach me how to use anything but auto-mode. Sad. So I take really crappy quality pictures and edit them all to hell.
But those photos look great! How long have you been a photographer?

Oh, I'm not a photographer, I just take pictures for fun. I'd love to learn more and eventually get to the point where I could have my own business.

Yeah, it's either one way or the other. It'll be too bright, or just black.  

But, I've just got to practice, practice, practice.

exactly. I also read a lot of things online and Pinterest is good. There's also a photography thread on here in the photo section.. Don't know if you've been in there (i mostly lurk) but you can get a lot of help in there too..
