Sex?

I just had my baby boy Kobe about 2 weeks ago.. I did rip when I gave birth. Just wondering if anyone knows about how long till I can be intimate with my hubby again?

You should wait 6 weeks.

You're suppose to wait until you get the OK at your 6 week check up.

I waited 2 weeks. I didn't rip and I was done bleeding. We used protection, lube and went really slow.

doctors recommend nothing to go in the vagina for 6 weeks.

6 weeks. After 2 weeks your stitches probably havnt dissolved completely if you got them.

You need to wait at least 6 weeks. It will give you time to heal, and your cervix to completely close again, so there won't be a huge risk of infection.
That being said, DH and I didn't have sex until 4 months pp

Really? We waited 6 weeks and it felt like my vagina was being ripped open.

i had stitches and we went for it at 3 wees cause i had stopped bleeding. went great - no pain - but then i started bleeding again and it didn't stop for 6 more weeks so i actually kinda bled for a total of 9 weeks. i think even though it went great we should have waited cause it obviously stressed my body out. so with our second baby we waited 7 weeks - a week after i had stopped bleeding. no difference physically but no extra bleeding.

First was 9 weeks. Second was 4 weeks. Third was two weeks. Mine were all c-sections though. With our third, I stopped bleeding, had sex, then I bled another three weeks :/
