re: how to get baby in right position

That's how DS is, but I don't believe that position requires repositioning at all. They're still head down, the contractions should still push them into place. It's only the spectrums of breech and transverse babies you really need to worry about, and even they can be delivered it's just high risk. DD was frank breech and I had to have an external cephalic version performed at 37 weeks. That's the medical way of going about repositioning and it sucked! They literally just dig their hands into your abdomen until the baby's entire skull and bottom are in the palms of the drs hands, and then they literally just flip them down manually. Ouch! It comes with a risk of cord entanglement and a so-so success rate too. I doubt they'd be concerned enough about a head-down side-lying babe to put you through any kind of procedures, but you can definitely google some yoga type moves to try and do it naturally. I know it's uncomfy, my little guy is driving me crazy in this position, but I don't see it causing any issues as long as head stays down. Did she mention why she's concerned. Is it the possibility of babe presenting side lying or "sunny side up"?. That will make delivery harder, but not necessarily dangerous or impossible.

she said she thought she was transverse. I'm delivering at a birth center, no way I want it to turn into a high risk delivery... I will fight extremely hard about delivering in a hospital.

Ooooh, I misunderstood your description initially. I thought you meant like how my little dude is, with his head in my pelvis and back running along my left side, bum under left ribs feet under right. Transverse does definitely need repositioning. If you do end up requiring an ECV to turn her, as uncomfortable as the procedure is, it's only a couple of minutes. Mine was successful and I was able to have a natural delivery with no issues, totally avoided a high risk delivery or c-section. So even worst case scenario if the yoga moves don't work out you do still have options. Hope that stubborn baby gives up her comfy spot for you!

Dont get too worried...babies can turn at anytime   even in labor!

Thats how Noah was! I know because I could feel his feet and his butt! He was coning on the far right side of his head too  . Yeah if she doesnt move by labor time I bet you your contractions will get her into position....try telling her to move everyday too  . I've heard stories of that working as crazy as it sounds...there is like a crazy connection you share

Noah turned after the pit stressed him out tho...I couldnt move cuz the epi...but Ive read of people turning them during labor

DS is oblique as well. They never told me to try to move him. They said at 34 weeks he might still move himself. And if not they will deal with it at birth.
DD was completely anterior, her big ole butt was right under my boobs/ribs.

I'm almost 37 weeks. :/
On spinning babies they had a few positions I'm gunna try tomorrow along with my yoga. I've been slacking on being active lately bc I've just felt so sluggish, which may be why she's in that position. I'm gunna just have to deal with it tomorrow and do what I can since I want everything to go as smoothly as possible. I'm an overreactor. Lol

ya, they said next time they see me at the dr, in 2 weeks, if he hasn''t moved he probably won't. But depending on how he is when I go into labor they can turn him a little themselves on his way out.. so we'll see

Yeah I've actually read a few places that talking to her will help. I'm just such an introverted person it feels a little awkward to me haha but I'm gunna try it!
