  total user. DH would never let me buy him something if he. Pulsing get me something too. This Xmas we were strapped for cash so we agreed not to get each other anything. Well I still got him something (a gift certificate to his fab Chinese place), he found out I got him something and took his last $20( that he spends on lunch for the two weeks) and went out and got me something.
You deserve to get too!

and yes i am worried about this, I cry at night sometimes thinking that if he don't get his smurf together ill have no choice but to leave and go home to my parents (which i really don't want to do) leave him there and just let him digg his own grave.. I just keep hoping that he'll get his smurf together before baby..

How is going to get his smurf together when you give him whatever he wants? Time to cut him off.

Learn to budget. Your dogs should come before gifts. That is messed up. Dh and I don't even spend that much on each other and we can feed our animals just fine.

well of course I do.. cause he hasn't! Well he was like this when we met but I was young and it was fun. We got our act together and its been together for over 2 years... but now in the past month he's back to his old ways.... and the stress of the baby is the only thing I can thing of.

Don't by him anything for valentines day go buy your self something instead and they say sorry I wanted this!!

Don't feel bad.... he needs to learn to grow up personally.... he can't act this way when he has a baby on the way. Our bills, baby, food, and animals all come first before we buy things.... and if he gets mad, oh well he needs to learn. Sorry don't mean to be blunt...

You won't be defending him when you need diapers or formula (if you use formula) and there is no money because he blew it....

If stand up To him now because if he likes to party so much and spend so much on himself what about your baby. Can you be sure he will put his child's needs before his because he don't put you before himself

Seriously OP, you can't complain about him blowing money and getting his smurf together when you do the same. You blow money on him them can't feed your dogs. Sorry if this sounds mean but you have a baby on the way. They are way more expensive than animals and if you don't learn to budget now it will be even harder when he comes!

Thats exactly what I would do, go buy a pack of diapers or something the baby will need.. I bought my baby stuff in spurts... and you can always stock up early on diapers and wipes. Thats what I did... we'll still need more, but it'll get us through the first month.
