its kind of funny and dumb ..Oh our military men go days with showers. But I can careless who circums their son and who doesn't. Doesn't make one parent better then the other.

MIL circd dh incase he went into the military so he would 'be cleaner' DH never went into the military, she thinks hes happy hes not.

Thats what I was trying to get at. They have a debate about women shouldn't be on the frot line etc..because of our periods and being clean. Yet men are and dont shower for days or weeks. So whats the difference? Anyways like I said I could careless. My son doesnt hate me for it

Not many people in aus are circd which is why dh doesnt like it plus coz of some doco he saw on some ancient civilisation who use to circ boys to discourage them from masterbating coz it takes away sensitivity or something?? I dunno i wasnt watching it.

I didn't circumcise my son for any religious reasons. I did it because it was "normal". However, an Orthodox Jew has been commanded, as a covenant with God. I can see how it would be VERY important to them.

It should be illegal. It's a human rights violation. And what if that child decides to not be a part of their parent's religion?
