Breast milk supply

Do any of you ladies have any advice for me as far as increasing my milk supply??? My little girl is going on 4 weeks old and Im having a hard time keeping her satisfied!!!! I've Been using my breast pump everyday several times a day cause I was told that would help, but its taking so freakin long!!! Any advice would be very much appreciated!!!!

First things what makes you think your supply is low?

Lots and lots of water. Nurse as much as possible.

Other tips are taking fenugreek, drinking mothers milk tea, eating oatmeal.

She is constantly eating off of me like she isn't getting enough, and whenever my Mother in law watches her and she feeds her a bottle, she is satisfied very quickly....

I would just skip the pumped milk, and nurse nurse nurse. Sounds like a growth spurt.

This. I wouldn't be giving her a bottle at all. That's what ruined BFing with my daughter. She noticed how easy it was and didn't want to have to struggle with the boob.

Im drinking water and juice all day long, but I will try the others also...thank you!!!!

This. The first 6-8 weeks are crucial in establishing milk supply. She should be nursing as much as possible and the more bottles she gets the more likely it is to cause nipple confusion. I would cut out the bottles if its necessary there is an article on kelly mom about the proper way to feed a bottle to a breastfed baby.

She has a bottle only when she is being baby sat...but yes, I hate having to make her have one!!! thanks ladies!!!! I was told to pump after each feeding.....so thats what i've been doing (not quite every time though)

Lactation cookies, LOTS of water (I mean GALLONS!) nurse,nurse,nurse, lots of skin to skin. I don't suggest Fenugreek as it is known for upsetting bellies. I find this lucky!! My LO is the opposite, he tried the bottle for a while then was like smurf this gimme the tit BITCH! I would prefer him on bottles because my nipples are falling off lol just ONE a day would be heaven
