Quoting Sonya B *Due in March!*:" My daughter is 4 and started getting a cold about 2 days ago, coughing, sneezing runny nose and sore ... [snip!] ... children's Tylenol fever reducer. I feel complelty dumb, but should I be taking her in the doctor with her fever reading 104?"
I'm not sure how "good" that thermometer is, but all the doctors that I have talked to about thermometers (I've talked to quite a few, since DS has to go to the ER if he runs a fever) say not to use the forehead/ear ones unless they are of GOOD quality. I would try to give her some Motrin, instead of Tylenol (it works better for fevers, for us anyway), try to let her soak in a warm tub for a while and have her drink water. You can even try a cool wash cloth on her forehead and back of her neck.
