Yes all of that is true due to the risks of pitocin and going over due. I have never had a Vbac but we talked about it at clinicals.

Yes its true you cannot be induced with pitocin. You do not want to induce yourself with anything that will cause more stress to your uterus, it will increase your chance at uterine rupture. There are other inducing methods used for VBACs, like the balloon but I don't know much about it.

I've had 3 VBACs. Only one csetion though. My first because she was breech.

Oh and I had pitocin with 2 of my VBACs. I heard some docs won't do pitocin though.
