D&C

Thanks to all the ladies who commented on my placenta coming out issue yesterday. I was persistant and told them I NEEDED an ultrasound today.
There was so much placenta left over in there! The doctor manually dilated me and scraped some out with tongs in the ultrasound room(ouch!), but couldnt get it all. I'm having a D&C tomorow to remove the rest. After the miscarriage, birthing the baby, and now the D&C 12 days later, I am over this!
I've never had one, but I'm hoping its quick and painlss when I wake up

I was 5 weeks PP before they found out what was wrong with me! Didn't even see it on the u/s at 3 weeks PP.

Just went and read your post from yesterday and that sounds crazy!

The on-call doctor said oh dont worry no big deal. But something told me it was a big deal. I'm glad I called back again today.
