Smaller SUV/Two rear facing seats

Anyone else have a Saturn VUE or a similar smaller SUV? Right now we have a Graco Size4Me 70 rear facing in the middle in DH's VUE, but when baby #2 comes along, I fear both seats not fitting rear facing in my husbands' car. Even if I flipped Chris forward, I have no clue how I'd fit the rear facing seat on the side in his car because it's so cramped. We have My Ride 65 seats we'll be using for baby #2 and we're avoiding infant seats. So, we're curious how we'll fit seat(s) in there rear facing. Ideas? Aside from moving passenger seat up all the way...no clue how we'll do it...

I have a Jeep liberty and in order to get my son's myride to rear face on the side we had to push the passenger seat all the way up. Sorry, I'm no help.

That's encouraging. Even if I put the Size4Me ffing in there, I'd still need the myride to rear face the littlest one for a while. No clue if I could fit the Size4me forward facing next to the myride so having myride in middle and size4me on the side.

I have a FFing 3.5 year old and a RFing 10-month old (in the full-sized rear facing seat) in the back seat of my Hyundai Tucson. The RF is even behind the drivers seat, but I have short legs. It hasn't been a problem, except that girly can reach out of the RFing seat now and her brother can grab her hand for mayhem.

And to add, DH car pools for work so we can't scoot seats up.

No - the FFing is on the passenger side and RF on drivers side. But the backseat is small enough that they can reach each other. There is no third kid unless we buy a bigger car!

That's cute that they can hold hands, reach eachother.

Sometimes it's cute - when they're laughing and being funny.

Sometimes it's crazy-making, when he pulls on her hand to make her cry, or tosses his toy over there and then realizes that he really must have it back (she won't give it back).
