I was always taller than my friends when I was younger. I got the nickname "tree". I was a bean pole too. but around the 7th grade (I stopped growing) and everyone else started.

Well, I don't have a daughter but I'm not all that old  .
I started my period at 9. From then on I grew boobs, started shaving my legs/under arms.

The same thing happened to me. I have a pic from 7th grade with 4 of my friends. I'm at least 6 inches taller than they are in the pic. That's pretty much when I stopped growing.

I think she will be tall as an adult as well, her father is 6'5. She has long blonde hair and hazel eyes, she is gorgeous. She doesn't see that though, only that she is different from the other kids because when she was 10 she looked 15. She is 5'4 right now I think.

That worries me! both my niece and nephew are very tall kids (14 and 15) my daughter (5) is also very tall for her age (over towers the kids in her class lol) kids can be so mean!  

My daughter got her period at the same age +/- a month I got mine (13yo) and we have been synced up ever since.
