I don't approve of teen pregnancy and I do NOT support teens TTC at a young age. I will support them if they need it and they are ALREADY pregnant.

I got pregnant at 16, had him at 17
Pregnant at 18, had her at 19

Of course you can. You might realize the mistake you made and advise other young people that it's not the way to go. It might make you a hypocrite, but it's kind of logical to me. They've already made a mistake possibly and know what it's REALLY like, so they have experience to approve or disapprove of it.

Yes, IMO, you can.

Being a hypocrite is like saying that other girls should/will learn from your mistake, though. That seems hypocritical to me. Like... think Bristol Palin supporting abstinence-only education when it worked out for her so well.

My mother was a teen mom and she didnt support of me getting pregnant as a teen....I probably would of ended up knocked up if she would have stated otherwise.

I would expect teen mothers to be more against it since they know the hardships and struggles of being one from experience.

I don't think anyone should approve of teen pregnancy, including pregnant teens. Its one thing to have support or support your loved one if they are a pregnant teen but its another to actually approve of teenage pregnancy. So yes, you can be a teen mom and still not approve of teenage pregnancy.

I would want to say thats being a hypocrite but at the same time smokers who started at a young age dont support others starting at a young age. And thats not much different than a woman who was a teen mom not agreeing with others being teen moms.
So thats a tough one.

Just because you happened to be a teen mom doesn't mean that it was okay or good for you, IMO.

I agree with this

I was a teen mom. And I still think teen parenthood is ridiculous. I mean I don't judge people for it, I mostly feel bad for them.

But the ones TRYING to get pregnant, I think they're idiots.

I am a teen parent and I am 100% against teen pregnancy. It was NOT okay for me in any way shape or form, but I couldn't stop what had already been done. I don't see how this makes me a hypocrite.
