Baby Carrier

posted 11th Feb
I'm looking into getting an ergo baby carrier. I have really large breasts, Triple D to an E size and my back KILLS me when I use the carrier I have right now. Does an ergo offer enough back support to where I can wear it comfortably for an extended amount of time? Which ergo do you recommend? Or a different carrier?

i dont know what the ergo one is, but i didnt even know they had ones with back support so ill be watching this lol my son loved his carrier but i had to stop using it because ive had back problems for years and its even worse now because of picking him up/putting him down - all the normal parent things lol but bending and stuff made it worse. not to mention hes 20lbs now so the weight just makes it unbearable to have him in there.

it would really be helpful in the winter since pushing the stroller through snow is hell.

They are pretty expensive. So, I don't really want to get one unless it is going to be comfortable and worth it. I got a cheap-o soft carrier and can only wear it for about ten minutes.

I'm a 38E in American size and we got the ergo. I use it when we're out for longer than an hour, so my back doesn't break. LO is 17 lbs. It's a lifesaver to be honest especially since LO is so big for his age.
I use a ringsling for in the house or quick trips to the store.

sounds good then! How old is your LO? Mine is 5 months and she is about 16 1/2 lbs right now.
