My hair.

I don't have a straight on picture of my hair... and I'm sick. Don't feel like taking one

It's a little past my collar bone. I'm getting full blonde highlights done this Thursday, she's also toning the part that I bleached and a cut. I'm not wanting to do much except a trim on the length (dead ends and what not). But I want her to style it and maybe do something different with my bangs. I have side bangs, and have had them since I was like 12. Time for a change

This was taken back in December, my hair has grown a bit:

BUT, what to do with my bangs?

I was thinking maybe some full long side bangs

I don't want blatant straight across bangs. They look weird on me and the stylist (no matter who it is) always cuts them too short. They don't realize I have naturally curly hair and when my hair dries, it shortens up.

HALP. What do you think would look good on me?

The last picture of the bangs looks very similar to the bangs you had/have already and I think they look good on you. I don't think it would be much of a change though. Maybe change the length of your hair a bit instead if you were wanting something different?

My bangs look nothing like Lindsay Lohan's, lol. I'm trying to find a good picture of 'em. Hang on

Pic on the right... it's an old picture, but pretty much the same style bangs. Except they've grown out.

I want like... more bangs. Covering my forehead more.

Her hair won't stay like that, just so you know. It won't part there. They did it for the picture, but it won't be like that every day. It would be in her face, just like yours would be.

I see that style all the time, though?

I'm not worried so much about it being in my eyes. I have glasses, and they hold back the hair

Yeah I got the long bang thing last hair cut. It drove me insane. lol   It was constantly tickling my nose. Eventually I invested in a lot of hair clips to keep them off of my face until they grew out enough to put back with the rest of my hair.

Mine were thicker than the picture though. It wasn't a good experiment for me.

You'd have to style them every day to get them to stay like that, and it will probably be annoying lol, but would look good on you, at least I think so.

The first girl in that picture's bangs stay that way because they are extremely heavy... Which looks stupid and EMO in my opinion. The second girl's bangs are much shorter than what you were talking about, and her hair parts further over than it looks like yours does from the pictures you put up. They would look fine, I just don't know how happy you would really be with them in reality, and you'll need a GOOD hairstylist who really knows how to manipulate the hair properly to be able to do it.

And for future reference, never trust a stylist who cuts bangs wet. Bangs should ALWAYS be cut dry!

It is possible. I did mine like that some time last year, you just have to "train" your hair to do it. When I decided that's what I wanted, I cut my bangs and parted my hair further to the side and pinned them down with bobby pins (only when at home lol)

also, instead of making your part just plain old side to side, brush your bangs more forward. Your glasses will help as well
