wierd period or something else?

I am ttc and usually have a regular period. This month it came 2 days early and started out a light flow and got heavy. It was a pink nd old blood brown color nd and even got black at the end. It lasted about 7 days and then after i had sharp shooting pain down through my vagina. What is up with all this?

From what I have been told that could have been a chemical pregnancy. Most women don't know they had one at all because the only thing that happened is their period started earlier than usual.

ok thank you. now its been as week since my period ended and today i noticed a sticky brownish discharge in my underwear that ive never noticed before
