Allergic Reaction

How long after the allergic reaction will you continue to itch? The reaction happen Thursday... I had 4 injections that day of heparin... my nose isn't running anymore and the rash seems to be clearing up.... but my itch will not stop. It's driving me crazy... my face is itching like crazy!! My face was one of the first few places that started itching during the reaction... and for some reason it's still itching.

Can't really say. Depends on how severe it was. Can you take some benadryl to control the itch?

Yeah, it's fine at night but I don't want to sleep the day away.... I just think it's crazy how i'm still itching... i'm back on my lovenox.... I just assumed the reaction would be over by now.
