My Tot Clock..awesome..

Ok so we got this clock for the boys http://www.mytotclock.com/home.php


So normally with my 4 yo I have to lay down with him until he falls asleep, then try to escape. My 2 yo falls asleep in my lap or something then gets transferred to bed. I'm fine with this it's just that it's hard for me to get up and down with my 4 yo because I'm 35 weeks pregnant.


For Corbin, I set it to read a story first..then 30 min of music..then white noise for the rest of the night.
I started it, tucked him in and said "hey mama has to go potty, you lay here and listen to the story..when it's over you can come get me ok?"
He said "ok, leave the door open".
20 min later I checked on him and he was out.

Riley laid down for 10 min or so before coming to find us but that's still 10 min! I'm sure he'll get the hang of it.

So far, way worth the $$.

DD has a clock similar, 90% she will go off the color the other 10% she apparently could care less and feels she makes her own rules. lol.

I just looked at the link and that thing is cool! Who knew you could have a clock that could do all of that stuff! White noise is by far a huge thing in my household because my almost 1 year old goes to sleep with "white noise" of ocean sounds. I may have to look into this!

Yeah the colors don't mean much right now, lol. I really liked the story function and the music/white noise. I was originally trying to find an old toy that played tapes of stories but they don't make it anymore, this is the new version I guess.

White noise is huge in our house too, none of us can sleep with silence because we're all light sleepers and will wake to every little sound if there isn't something to drown it out!

The one it came with is like "Close your eyes and lets go on an adventure to dreamland" type story. You can buy other stories though..little red hen, sleeping beauty, etc. There's like..6-8 different ones.

I used to be that way but then all of a sudden its like I need silence, lol. Its weird how I changed just like that.

But the clock is neat... I get Lily up though, shes like me and presses snooze a thousand times!
