Clingy boyfriend!

My boyfriend is what I call really clingy, I'm not sure how to apporach it but it's kinda getting old and I'm annoyed we text constantly, pretty much 24/7. If he texts me constantly I will reply but after a while he will talk about something stupid or it will jus annoy me an I'll delete the message and won't talk to him for a few hours like maybe 3-4 and then he will text me again and one time he didn't hear from me for like 2 hours and he called twice and texted 4 times and then told me he was worried because he couldn't get ahold of me after I had already told him that I was busy which tells him I can't consantly text I've already told him that it's not going to do anything but annoy me and cause a break up I use to be like that with guys last relationship ened because of that now i've learned and he doesn't seem to get it please help how do I tell him to stop there is no need to constantly worry abou little things I understand he's worried but geezzz all the callig and texting because of no texting for 3 hours isn't needed

SO and I had a relationship like that when we were 13. It would annoy the smurf out of me now. Tell him he's being clingy and to knock it off.

Tell him to stop or you will end it. You guys are young, if something about him/the relationship makes you unhappy, end it. Chances of him being your soul mate at your age are pretty slim. Lol

We have been together like 3 weeks almost yeah I seriously am thinking about ending it

I'm almost 19 how are things slim that we wouldn't get married and have a lfe together? it bothers me to no end and I have told him to stop if it doesn't change I will break up with him he has this week to re prove himself

I didn't intend it to, I was more or less joking but it does sound like he's acting like a stereotypical teen girl that is way too clingy at the start of a new relationship.
