That's actually pretty controlling that he would get mad over you not texting him back for a few hours, or freaking out as bad as he did. Especially having only been together 3 weeks. I would end it if I were you, he has some growing up to do.

All I meant is that there is no reason to settle for someone who is that clingy and controlling three weeks into the relationship when you're only 19-20. If he doesn't listen and get better about it, he will without a doubt get worse. At 19 you're young enough to move on quickly and find someone better suited for you.

That's all I meant. I started dating my husband when I was 19 but if he had been tha clingy and controlling, I wouldn't have lasted longer than that first three weeks. I know I don't want to spend the rest of my life with someone like that.

He just freaked and was like I couldn't get ahold of you I was really worried like he was worried not mad but it's annyoin because it's all the time and like 6 hours no contact he calls 2 times texts me 3 or 4

Smurf I WISH my SO texted me that much. He never does unless to check in. I would just tell him it's a pet peeve and to give him certain limits on texting/calling you.

I just broke up with my extremely clingy boyfriend about two hours ago. I couldn't take it anymore..just seeing him come through the door pissed me off.
I just had a kid 4 months ago and he is my life. I do not need a boyfriend up my ass 24/7. It sucks. get out while you can  
and I've also been that way in relationships and been dumped because of it. I quickly changed when I found out just how annoying it is.

Possessive behavior... and it's just the tip of the iceberg.

I dated one of those before.. he was crazy clingy! Told me he loved me after a month of dating, always wanted to do everything with me and go everywhere with me, I got no time to myself and the few times I did he was constantly calling/texting me. I couldn't handle it, I just ended up leaving. He was a really good boyfriend, a real sweetheart and completely loyal, which was a nice change from the cheating smurf I was dating before him.. it was just too much, though.
