Hunger Games... Mockingjay book.

Did you read it? Did you enjoy it?


MIL and I have connected Kindles and whatnot. I get whatever she downloaded on hers. She downloaded that book, and I've got nothing better to do right now.  

Well, it's a toss up between that and The Handmaid's Tale.

Is amazing, but if you haven't read the first two, it won't make sense

Of course. I did read the first two. I just wasn't sure if I should mix it up and read a different book or keep with the same.

First book is amazing
Second book is meh.
Third book has taken me months and months of picking at. it is absolutely the second biggest pile of smurf I've ever tried to read. Followed close behind the first twilight book.

It's really good, but way darker than the first two. Just a heads up! I would totally read it, though.

Mockingjay won't make sense if you don't read the first two. And honestly Handmaid's Tale is an amazing book. I'd recommend that one to read.

I don't get how its good. I've found it unreadable.

I HATED the ending.

I loved the first book, but really couldn't get into the second to be honest. It took a while to read because I just couldn't jump right into it like I could the first.

Jeez, the Twilight books.

I had to read spoilers just to feel I sorta got the jist of the ending. I just can't finish it. it's so poorly written and boring.

The first book I read in 4 days. That's fast, considering I can go a year w/out reading a book.

The second took me about a month because I started working and didn't have as much time

The third one I started last summer and have yet to read the whole thing. I'm about 60-75% done and I just can't do it.

Really?

I loved the way Suzanne Collins wrote it...You got the idea that along the way, with all she'd been through, a lot of things about Katniss had become messed up. She wasn't the untouchable heroine...so many things fell to pieces on her, and you got the sense that she was trying to keep from falling to pieces herself.

I wouldn't say that it was perfect, since no book is, but you got a sense of how messed up she became.

Me too. That was my only big complaint about the book/series.

I'd wipe my ass with a twilight book if i didn't have TP.
