we are having a girl:-)

We are having our forth child and it is our third girl. Im thinking of naming her skylar elaine tiang. Does this name go together well?

I have a hard time envisioning Skylar on an adult, but that's my taste.

I don't see Skylar as a girl name..just seems odd

For me, all the Skylar's I know are little boys.

Really? Lol i know so many girls with the name skylar:-) ive always loved it. I was going to name my first daughter skyler mckenzie tiang. My childrens names are amilea lynn, ian christopher, and amerie claire of course all last names tiang.i alwsys thought i picked out nice names but hmmmm u all made me think twice about this one lol. I did have a few names picked out before i found out it was a girl. I had the names farrah after farrah fawcet i love her name. Also had the names mara, moira, and nora picked out. I really was hoping for a son so i didnt have a ton of names picked out this time.

Oh really? That is soooo awesome. How do you feel about three girls and 1 boy? My son is the 2nd born and he is defintley spoiled i find it will be hard for him being the only boy in the house and 4 was our limit unless we hit the lottery then id try for 6 kids but lets not count on that.

I like those names a lot more than Skyler... Skyler sounds way too trendy and a boys name.

Also, hope I don't offend anyone but it makes me think of a redneck/stripper.

Lol, We say the same thing about trying for 6 if we were ever to come into a lot of money!

My son is my oldest so we have that special "first child" / only boy thing going on. I was really hoping for a boy this time around, DH and my son as well, we wanted to "even" things out and have two kids in each bedroom... my son was pretty bummed when we first found out. He didn't understand that it wasn't something we could really control and kept saying how unfair it was that all the girls have a brother but he doesn't...ra ra ra...he seems to have gotten over it though. She'll be here very soon and they're all excited. It definitely makes spending a lot of money on clothes easier though, I feel like I'll get three different kids out of each outfit so I don't mind splurging too much lol

I've known a Skyler who is a girl and a Skylar who is a boy.
I think the name for a girl is beautiful.   and the Skyler I know is so nice too haha.
