Activities for 2½ year old...

posted 9th Jun
Does anyone know of any activities for a 2½ year old?? My son gets bored really easy lately and bugs the crap out of me... he is not one to sit still for very long nor to let me read to him... he loves playing the little toddler games online but gets a little out of hand with them after a while... i was just wondering if anyone knew of anything else to do either by himself or with me involved?? He loves to dance so i was thinking of maybe going to walmart or online to see if they have like workout videos that you can get your kiddo involved in but im not sure where to start... I need something!!!

I would suggest the park! My daughter loves anything outside. Where we live there is a little waterpark that is about 30 minutes away. That's one of her favorites! They also have spraygrounds ( fountains for kids to play in) that she loves. It's so good for them to be outside and active!

my aunt has a swing, maybe one of those,

maybe a kiddy pool? or some kiddy sprinker things? My cousin has one, and its a water octopus and its legs move and go all over and she just loves it.

Sprinklers are great.
We just got this one and it's really cool. It comes with balls and it sprays them out with the water and the balls even hover above the water.

Thanks ladies... i would do sprinklers but Devon hates water like that... he hates the shower... a friend of mine has a big blow up slide that has a sprinkler at the top and he will not even get in the bottom pool part if that sprinkler thing is on and he HATES the shower... so no sprinklers here... i was thinking more like indoor things too cuz the weather here this week is kinda wet and rainy... but i got some playdough for now and some of those papers that onyl certain markers will work on... the ones where its like magic paper or something and the markers cant mark skin or clothes or walls... its awesome too and he loves it...

Those things are awesome... when i was a kid we used to have the ones that you attach to your ankle and swing them around and jump over them... Devon would absolutely LOVE that...
