DH and I just started TTC this month, should i put an effort into taking OPK's or should i wait awhile and see if anything happens by itself?

I would just wait and BD alot. I wouldn't track unless I was having problems getting pregnant.

The two times we TTC we didn't use them.

I used an app on my phone, and got pregnant within a couple of cycles.

I never did anything other than attempt to have sex on my fertile days based on my cycle length. It took 4 months. Personally i feel tracking everything from the start puts a lot of pressure on it and its not fun romantic sex as much as it like a have to do this.

I would wait. Most people I know are able to get pregnant within a few months with no problem. If you have had issues getting pregnant in the past, I'd get them now, though.

I'd wait a few months before taking anything.

Sperm live well inside of a woman for about 3 days
So have sex every 3 days and you will constantly have live sperm available for when you ovulate. ;)

You can wait if you want.
They were cheap so we used them and got pregnant our first month.

I didn't use them, however, I did learn about fertility and monitoring my cervical mucus and basal body temperature (I only did this with my first, with the second I did pay attention to my cervical fluids).

I became pregnant on my first cycle each try. It didn't cause us any additional pressure, we didn't have sex any more (or less) then we would have otherwise  .

I'll wait a few months because I wouldn't want to take the fun out of sex. Good luck hun with everything!!!!
