Pet peeves

Do you have any about your SO? Something that absolutely bugs the smurf out of you?

I found my old phone today and was going through messages between my ex and I. He had a double standard about everything, things I was not allowed to do but he would do in an instant. That smurf was so infuriating, hence why he's an ex I suppose.

And then it got me thinking about my most recent ex. He is the worlds biggest liar and mommas boy. His mom controls his whole life. Such a pet peeve of mine.

wow! your most recent ex sound just like my sons father! lol!!! I hate a liar!!! someone who will lie about what color the sky is even if you both are looking right at it!!! smh!

My biggest annoyance with him is something he can't help- but he is an obnoxiously loud breather/cougher/sneezer/hiccuper. He has asthma and it's not his fault, but I swear I want to push him down the stairs when he starts.

I'm an awful person.  

Only things he does that really bother me are his driving and hoarding towels on his bedroom floor after showering instead of hanging them up. I try to not bitch about the towels anymore because he does a lot around the apartment, including dishes because I CAN'T STAND doing dishes.

My biggest pet peeve about Dh is that he constantly throws his wet towel on my side of the bed. Then he leaves it there untill I find it, right before laying down, and my side of the bed is soaked   Makes me want to kick him in the face.

My husband thinks the kitchen counter is a trash can, I am always clearing off the counters.

I've been with DH for 14 years, married for ten. I no longer classify them as pet peeves, but it does drive me nuts when he works so many hours he burns himself out then wants to come home and sleep every day. But he is a great provider so I don't complain. Would rather have an overworking man than a lazy one!

My husband forgets to replace the trash bag when he takes the trash out. Makes me crazy! Lol

the thing that annoys me most about SO. is he always want to shower with me.. I freaking hate it. take your own damn shower!

My ex used to set his alarm 2 hrs before hr had to get up and hit the snooze button every 8 minutes. Pissed me off so bad because I couldn't sleep through it and I couldn't ever fall back asleep.

DH is the same way and that is the most annoying smurf ever!    

Tony wasn't too bad about this, but he had his moments. I can't stand when people chew their food or gum loud, and with an open mouth. It seriously makes me go insane. I can't focus on anything but the "chimp CHOMP smack SLURP!" YUCK! His son was horrible, good lord that boy did NOT chew with his mouth closed EVER! Eating cereal was the worst!

I had exes though that were horrible with their chewing. I recently went out with an ex I had right after I left Lily's father. We went out for a beer and to the movies and at the bar he was chomping on his gum... I kept thinking "Dear lord did he ALWAYS chew like that?"

So one of my biggest pet peeves are loud eaters. Yuck.

It is kind of a pet peeve of mine when guys dont like to read. They don't have to be bookworms, but if a guy is the type to not read unless they HAVE to and cant read for fun I lose interest.

Horrible spellers and horrible grammar bugs me. I can tell you right now, if I meet the most gorgeous guy in the world that actually likes me but sends a text that looks like "Hey grl, wnna go out 2 eat 2nyte, der b dis gr8 place 2 eat it evn has vegitrian food!" I will ABSOLUTELY lose interest. Right then and there... gone. lol!

Haha Tony and I were like that. The first time I spent the night when he had to go to work he said "I hope you don't mind but I have to snooze the alarm before I actually get up." I laughed because I'm the same way. Seriously, I will be in a SmurffY smurfing mood if I have to get up (meaning, actually get up out of bed to get ready) at 7 and don't allow myself to slowly wake up before. If my alarm were to go off at 7 and I got up then.... woah, watch out world! I normally set my alarm an hour before I have to get up and snooze until I need to get up. Then I am actually in a good mood. I'm so glad Tony was the same way! I can see how that is annoying to someone else though.

It used to piss me off too because I worked the night shift, so I'd get maybe three hrs of sleep before the first alarm
