disney ?

Hey guys so I haven't had my son yet but I'm due April 15th and my sister was planning on comin down from ny towards the end of May and she wants to bring her daughter to disney. Do you think it would be safe to bring my son? He would be a little over a month by then if he comes on time lol

A 1 month old at disney. No i probably wouldn't. Thats a smurf ton of people and crowds, a ton of time out in the sun plus you will still be healing and adjusting from giving birth.

I don't see how it wouldn't be safe BUT you have to think about the heat and thinhs like that.

Yes but wouldn't be able to go on the rides obviously, still a great family day out.

Think of all the people and their germs. Also do you plan on breastfeeding? At 4 weeks the baby is likely to still be attached to your breast 24/7. They are just so sensitive at that age. I might do a half day or something but def. not a full day out.

I worked at Disney for 7 months and spent almost every day off in the parks. thf being said...

HELL NO. There's no way in hell I'd bring a 1 month old to Disney. Germs, heat, too many people, the frequent feedings and diaper changes. It gets so dreaming hot ESPECIALLY around April. no matter how much shade you have, it will be hot.

any parent who'd bring a 1 month old to Disney should be reported for child abuse.

I didn't mean literally. But it woul be awfully cruel to out such a young baby through ANY amount of time at Disney.

arent there any indoor places she can take the baby into thats air cond like shops or resturants

in a way that would represent how cruel I think it would be to expose such a young baby to all that crap...

With all the people and germs no way in hell would I take my 1 month old. If you are breastfeeding your child will be on your boob a lot and you won't even really be able to enjoy it. Even while shading the baby, heat is a very big issue. Not to mention newborns get overwhelmed VERY easily and that can cause them to get very ill and end up in the emergency room. If disney is really worth that risk to you then so be it. But I wouldn't.
