Sorry, i think when you give something to someone, you are letting it go. It doesn't matter if they are using it or not, you gave it to them. It was a gift.

This is my thought. Its theirs now and either get the one from your sister or buy a new one but dont ask for something you gave someone else back.

Thanks ladies, I don't think it's that big of a deal either but my sister's said it would be rude.
I mean it's the exact same crib, I just want mine because it's newer and their is nothing wrong with my sister's crib.

If you gave it to them, it's rude to ask for it back. It's like taking back a gift.

Seems pretty convoluted to swap them, why not just use your sisters.

I can have that one but we bought ours brand new and it's was only used for a while along with the mattress so that's why I want ours back.

if there's nothing wrong w/ your sister's crib, then take it. You GAVE them your crib. it's not your crib anymore. If you asked for it back, I'd sell it just to spite you.

Because it is. You gave it to them so now its theirs.

We gave it to them just to use because I know they wouldn't be able to buy one on thier own. In our family there is so many babies we share/borrow pretty much everything.
