Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" We gave it to them just to use because I know they wouldn't be able to buy one on thier own. In our family there is so many babies we share/borrow pretty much everything."
Quoting Jennybananna:" Because it is. You gave it to them so now its theirs."Like I said before it was for the to BORROW. They know this.
Quoting Devil Duckie:" but if you gave it to them as a gift, you can't take it back. that's beyond rude. if you told them "i'm lending this to you." that's different. "That is what we did.
Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" Like I said before it was for the to BORROW. They know this."
Quoting Devil Duckie:" if there's nothing wrong w/ your sister's crib, then take it. You GAVE them your crib. it's not your crib anymore. If you asked for it back, I'd sell it just to spite you. "
Quoting Devil Duckie:" from the way you put it, I doubt it very likely they did. "
Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" Like I said before it was for the to BORROW. They know this."OK and are they done borrowing it? I still think its rude. You gave it to them to use for their child. Now if they were done using it then that would be one thing but I still think its rude to ask for it back just so you can have newer crib. If you think they would understand then sure ask. You know them better and what some might consider rude they may not.
Quoting Devil Duckie:" if there's nothing wrong w/ your sister's crib, then take it. You GAVE them your crib. it's not your crib anymore. If you asked for it back, I'd sell it just to spite you. "
Quoting .Solange.:" Yeah being spiteful to get a point across is obviously the right decision here."
Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" Right?! Man, glad I dont have people like that in my family..."
Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" Like I said before it was for the to BORROW. They know this."
Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Subtle As A Hurricane:</b>" You originally said give, not borrow. ... [snip!] ... not rude to ask. If you gave it to them to keep, it's very rude."</blockquote> Sorry I was not clear, gave to borrow."
Quoting Baking #3 *21weeks*:" Thanks ladies, I don't think it's that big of a deal either but my sister's said it would be rude. I ... [snip!] ... rude. I mean it's the exact same crib, I just want mine because it's newer and their is nothing wrong with my sister's crib."
