but if you gave it to them as a gift, you can't take it back. that's beyond rude. if you told them "i'm lending this to you." that's different.

Yeah being spiteful to get a point across is obviously the right decision here.

OK and are they done borrowing it? I still think its rude. You gave it to them to use for their child. Now if they were done using it then that would be one thing but I still think its rude to ask for it back just so you can have newer crib. If you think they would understand then sure ask. You know them better and what some might consider rude they may not.

You originally said give, not borrow. If you gave it to them to borrow, then it's not rude to ask. If you gave it to them to keep, it's very rude.

IMO they aren't done borrowing it yet. So use your sisters or buy another new one.

If she has a crib already, maybe you can talk to her to see how she feels about giving you at least one. Otherwise, buy another one. You gave it to her after all.

That is so rude. You said you GAVE it to them. Not let them use it or borrow it for the time being until they could get their own. And then you could simply take the one your sister has but no you want yours back because its in better shape and want to give them the one that's not as good. Definition of RUDE.
