Odd infant behavior or am I just lucky??

Ok... So my 10 month old DD sleeps through the night (thank god) and takes 2 nice naps during the day. Ok, so here's my question. When she wakes in the morning and for her naps... She never cries for me to come get her. She just sits up in her crib and stares into space and plays with her binkies. If I didn't have a video monitor, I often wonder how I would know she was even awake. I find this to be odd. She is my 1st so I don't know. Why it has me worried I don't know either tho. Right now I put her in her crib for her 4:30 nap (I always put her in her crib awake) and for the last half hour she's just hanging out in there. Sitting up playing with her binkies. She hasn't fallen asleep yet. Am I just over thinking?? Lol

mine usually wakes up pretty happy.

I see it as a great thing! Shows that she is comfortable in her bed and isn't afraid. Also that she is a great self soother! Call it a win!

sounds like she just likes her alone time and doesn't have any reason to be concerned that you wouldn't come get her

DS has a toy in his crib that he wakes up and plays with after he wakes up. He will sit up and play and once he's ready to get out he will stand up and talks loud enough for me to hear him. He doesn't cry.He always wakes up in a good mood and he's 6 months.

Sounds like you have a great self soothing baby, and you are lucky.  

DS does the same too, freaks me out to be honest. I always wonder if he has been crying but I didnt hear him somehow, if you know what I mean?
