I remember reading somewhere that if mum has HepB antibodies, then they'll pass to baby. Beyond that, I dunno.

I am not doing it. There is a higher rate of side effects & I don't like some of the ingredients in it.

What are some of the side effects? The only ones I saw were fussiness and tenderness where they got the shot?

No, lol... I'd recommend getting "the vaccine book" by Dr. Sears.

Those are common side effects. I'm talking about the more uncommon ones. One sec, I don't have it in front of me

IDK...I didn't get the hep B vaccine until I was 12. I think it is a useful vaccination, but I don't know how useful it is for infants.

The thing about Hep B is that it can be transmitted through air droplets, coughing...and you can get it. It isn't like its some imaginary disease, it still exists and its pretty prominent.

I vaccinated my son with Hep B because his grandmother has it.

That's my big thing is it necessary while she's an infant? No one in my family or husbands family has it so I'm thinking wait until later

Here is a link to some of the side effects, with sources.

IDK if I would do it unless I had to. You can also delay vaccinations.

Thanks! And I am delaying them. As of right now I'm only going to get the ones she will need for school and certain other ones, but doing it on MY schedule not the doctors.

I think I'm getting my symptoms and my modes of transmission confused here >.< Sorry, probably shouldn't be talking about this kind of crap when my brain is already on overload.

Nah thanks for correcting me! Regardless OP, if your kid isn't going to be around someone who has it, delay it.

I delayed my sons vaccines.
