Healthy Snacks

I just want to share a few of my healthy snacks.

-red peppers (uncooked) I eat them like apples, and my kids love em too!
-cucumbers, so delicious and juicy
-trail mix (raisings, nuts)
-bananas

All of those are delicious. Except, I like the Green Bell Peppers better than the red peppers.

green bell peppers are tasty too, but I find them not at sweet as red peppers.

I think that's why I like them a lot, helps when I have a sweet tooth.

I just made a new batch of trail mix. We put in cashews, peanuts, dried cranberries, dried coconut chunks and a few gold fish crackers.

And we eat a lot of berries, bananas and pears.

And I love sweet peppers. Unless they are going on hot sandwiches. mmmmm

Now I am hungry..

I eat cherry tomatoes like they're popcorn, I've been going through shameful quantities this pregnancy. I also like to cut a kiwi in half and eat each half with a spoon, leaving behind a fuzzy kiwi skin bowl. Way quicker than peeling kiwis, and fun to eat too. My daughter is really big on dipping berries in yogurt or cream cheese dip too. Mmm, thank god for fruit and veggie snack foods. Oh, and sugar snap peas! Those are awesome for snacking too. Cucumber wedges dipped in hummus. Oh man, don't even get the hungry, formerly vegan, hippy-dippy eater, pregnant lady started on various healthy snack addictions, I'll keep going all day.
