Proud mama moment :)

Just had to brag lol  
DS and I decided to make sandwiches for lunch, so we went to the refrigerator to figure out what to put on them. I start suggesting things I know he likes, like bananas, blueberries, turkey, etc. He goes into the crisper, grabs a bag of spring mix and says "Mommy, I want salad. Please and thank you!"

I've been pulling teeth to get him to say please!!   So, we had lettuce sandwiches with miniature bell peppers, broccoli, and pepperoni. Deeeeelish!

hahaha, bananas on a sandwich? lol

I wish I could get my kid to eat that healthy! He is going through a texture phase and he is super picky. They only way he will eat any veggies is puree.

I remember i took my nephew on an outing.
and we walked soooooo far, went to the mall and walked really far back, i had got him a few juice boxes and a bit of food as a treat and beverage for the walk, and amazing behaviour .
i asked if he wanted to stop at 711 and get a couple five cent candies or chips to share.
and he says 'No thank you aunty, i need water and an apple please.'
i was told, so i got him just that <3 haha.

Lol... I still let him eat a jar of baby food here and there. The other day I tried to discourage it by saying "You're a big boy!" He goes "No. I'm baby." then later adds that he's Grandma's baby.  
Heck though, I don't even eat that healthy! lol I know the other shoe is about to drop and he's probably on the precipice of rejecting all foods, but hey... I'll take it!
