yellow and green squash

I call them both squash and yes I know the green one is zucchini. Now that that is settled I was wondering how you cook yours?
Mine I usually put some butter in the bottom of the pan and put them in a single layer, put pepper all over them and fry them up but I am thinking that is probably not very healthy cause of the butter.

The only time I ever eat either one is when I make Spaghetti Sauce.



ETA: Wrong, I've made Zucchini Bread a few times too.

I do a lot with it. Zucchini fries, zucchini-tots, zucchini muffins, zucchini boats...you name it.

My mom makes zucchini by slicing it and dip it in egg and then dip in bread crumbs and fry it in a little veggie oil. Sooo good
