I always go slow too. People get all pissed at me but I've never been in a ditch let alone an accident.

Yeah same here but I like going slow haha. I went in the ditch once the first time I ever drove in winter. And it scared the confidence right out of me lol. Now I go slow unless it is bare roads.

when i don't have the humidifier handy, i put a big pot full of water on the stove and leave it boiling for a few hours. works really well

Just drove to SOs moms house and its hailing with a mix of snow. So be careful if you head to town

Also, you can close up the bathroom and let the shower run with the water as hot as it will get and sit in there with her......the steam will help clear her up some if you think she needs it.

I didnt' but I should've. She's worse and I don't know if we can go in the morning

I can try that but the bathroom here is drafty to begin with :/ I try not to even bring her in there. But if I can make it home tomorrow with this storm, I can do it there.
