Prepare before your baby comes!

You need to have everything planned out and ready BEFORE you have a baby!
An old friend of mine had a baby 2 weeks ago. Since then she has texted me several times begging for rides to and from the doctor's office for her child and asked me if I could spare some money for formula. They had to run out and buy a carseat before he was sent home from the hospital (he wasn't early, it was a scheduled C-section).
Now she's on FB begging people to donate her clothes. Saying she's in desperate need.
I just want to pop her upside the head!

What the hell was she doing for 9 months?  

Ouch.


2 weeks and already can't afford forumla... eek.

Well that sounds like the ideal situation for a NB baby

I have no idea. They already have a 2 year old, so you would think they would know exactly what they needed this time.

I'm only 19 weeks and iv been stocking up on diapers lol already have everything picked out just need to order them as time progresses. I don't know how people can do that what she been doing for 9 months sitting on her ass? most women don't have the privilege in knowing when their baby is going to make an entrance.

Do they not have anything left over from the 2 year old? Clothes, carseat?

Apparantly not.   I have no idea what was going through her head.

That is terrible, What is people aren't feeling generous and she can't buy formula? Maybe she should have thought about that a little bit more!

That would suck! Obviously she wasn't preparing at all.
Like no car seat? Really?
Why didn't she prepare?

Jesus. I can understand the formula - maybe she had her heart set of breastfeeding and it didn't work out. But common sense says you need a car seat. A summer NB can get away with no clothes but it's February FFS.

She posts "please help me" posts on FB a lot.  

What thats horrible! The carseat is the biggest part that blows my mind
