Sad.

AF is due the 11th, and I was hoping she wouldn't show up.

Now DH is being all whiny saying, "we can't have another one yet" blah blah blah.

  

I'm pretty much crushed. He agreed to TTC in June and was excited and now he's acting like he doesn't want anymore kids and I could possibly be pregnant right now, because of HIS decision. I stopped taking birth control January 9th, and he knew, but he said he would rather pull out than use condoms. We had sex on January 27th and I was ovulating.

Ugh.

Probably just a little freaked out about what is to come. I wouldn't worry about it too much, I'm sure he's still onboard. Next time make sure it is BOTH of your decisions not just HIS.

I'm tired and most likely not comprehending well, so I'm sorry if what I ask/say makes no sense:

Did you agree to TTC as well?
What is AF, period? It's supposed to come the 11th but you don't want it to?

I want another baby asap. He wants to wait until June to TTC. BUT he won't use condoms. He's relying on the pullout method until June.   So I told him it's not 100% reliable and he went all crazy. But yes my period is due the 11th and I was hoping I was pregnant until he wanted to be a huge downer about it.

Why June? What is going to be different in June?

Why does he want to wait till June? I was in this situation not long ago, except it was the one who didn't want a baby. Maybe he just doesn't feel mentally or emotionally ready for another baby? Have you sat him down and had a serious conversation with him?

Yeah, we have. He said he wanted to try in June and he even started telling his family and friends and was acting excited, now all of the sudden it's like he doesn't want to anymore.   I don't want a huge age difference between my kids and if we wait until June she will be around 2.5 when the baby#2 is born.

Of course if he doesn't want another one yet there's nothing I can do.

What does he say when you ask him about his sudden change of heart? Have you guys had a pregnancy scare? Could it be that maybe you guys did, and reality kicked in that he really isn't ready for another baby?

I seriously think he just kind of has cold feet. Obviously, he wants another baby but with the chance that you could be pregnant he is probably nervous. Kind of like cold feet before a wedding. It doesn't mean he doesn't want it. I really see no difference between TTC now or in June. It can months or years to get pregnant so its not like you can choose for sure when it happens.

I think what she means is that the sooner she gets pregnant the smaller the age gap between her kids will be.
