Yuck...

DD is 12 weeks old and stinky.

After a bath she's all clean and smells like flowers and then an hour later I can pick her up and she stinks. I don't even know how to explain the smell... It's like sweet sweat if that makes sense?

Any ideas on why or..anything?

hmmm thats strange, unless she still has her cord stump that was the only time DS stank! but im pretty sure his fell off at just 10 days im not even sure if they can still have them by 12 weeks lol probs not.

Could it be milk in the folds of her neck? We always have to make sure that DS neck is cleaned properly

Yea it's been gone since week 1 lol.. She is enjoying all the baths but it's driving me nuts

I thought it was, but after I gave her a bath earlier she went to sleep without eating and when she woke up the smell was back

oh yer i just remembered, DS armpits stank because they get bacteria under there and tbh i didnt know to proper clean his armpits and neck folds so its got quite red and looked very sore when the nurse told me about it, i felt so bad but it smelt because it starts getting infected im pretty sure.

check her armpits and give them a whiff!

That's all I could think of, I remember having that problem with my youngest since he's a little chunker and formula would get caught up in there

It's like her whole body, like she was rubbed down with a dirty sock and honey lol.. I don't know how to explain it... I'm starting to think maybe because she's been sick?

Well that is a scary thought. And a much better description of the smell. I will def be making an appointment on Monday... I hope they just tell me I have a stinky baby O_O
