I've had a foot massage from DH and a little pressure in the right spots make my feet feel so much better but idk about it affecting other body parts. i obviously wouldn't put much pressure.

im so glad you posted this..

i just remember when DD was sick or whiney i would just rub her feet.. give her a massage and she would fall asleep. i never knew there was actually meaning behind it, i just did it because i like it.   and now i know why it helped lol

When my son doesn't feel good I rub his feet...you don't need to apply pressure at all. When we visited Florida in beginning of December poor DS was so sick. He had a fever, runny nose, cough...you could tell he was miserable and the only thing that helped was rubbing his feet.

DH does it to DD sometimes but he just rubs up and down the bottom surface of her foot and she goes right to sleep. i'm apparently not allowed to put her to bed. she just screams her head of if i even try. i'd say 95% of the time. the techniques that DH uses, i seem to do all wrong- swaddling included. where as i've seen DH get her from get her from completely awake to completely asleep in 15 sec flat!
