What was that?

So little tmi but after I went to the bathroom I was walking to the living room and all of a sudden a Gish of fluid leaked out like not a lot so it wasn't dripping down my leg but it soaked my underwear .... And I coughed like 5 mins after and nothing came out so I don't think it was my water but what else could it be?

Discharge, or pee.

Can discharge be that watery and even if I just went and emptied my bladder it could be pee?

Yes discharge can be watery, and yes, it can be pee, too. Your kidneys are always working, so some pee might have gone from your kidney to your bladder at that moment.

If your that concerned go to your local ER, better safe than sorry.

Definitely could be pee. Put in a panty liner or pad. If you soak it and it doesn't have a urine like smell call your doctor or go and be seen. Its more than likely discharge or urine.

if you continue to leak I'd go to the l&d to make sure

Most people actually don't think about the fact that their kidneys are always working. Your kidneys and liver are your blood filtration system, and as long as your blood is circulating, it's getting filtered through those organs(unless you have kidney or liver failure, of course).

I had that happen to me with my last pregnancy it turned out to be an infection..dont remember which one though.
