You're welcome   If I think of anything else I'll let you know. If you double tap the home button it should bring up the samsung voice thing...I don't really use that though.

I personally think android is WAY better then apple ;)
they are more customizable

I'm sure there's more but I use chomp sms for my texting, you can customize you message screen, individual text screen, and even the color of your LED light when you get a text...which works with the s3.   My phone blinks purple when I get a text lol

I have an S3 and I didn't know it did half the things you have mentioned. How the hell do I change the colour of that lil annoying flashing blue light?

Awesome right!? You have to download the chomp sms app...its free, then mess around in the settings. I'm gonna play with it to see where specifically. ..I'm just horrible at explaining things lol.

Il have to have a look for it.

In the app itself hit menu (left of the phones home button) settings, notifications, LED something. ..you can have red, green, orange, blue, magenta (the purple) something else and none

haha text yourself and see if it works. I still get notifications   there's a way to turn off the notifications from your old messenger too so you don't get double

Does it only work for text?
Coz I did get a notification from fb and no light came on at all

Blocking mode is pretty cool too. Not gonna lie I didn't know about this until tonight haha I was messing around with the settings.

Also you can remove any blank pages for your home screen. Go there, hit menu, edit page, then drag the blank page down to delete. Idk about you but I had 2 blank pages and I hated scrolling through them lol

Yeah just texting. All the other notifications will be their default. I'm sure there's an app you can download to change that too lol I just haven't looked into it.

Yea I knew about deleting/adding blank pages.
What's the blocking function?
