Yogurt.

Heathen had thrush at 5 months old. Took her to the doc and they gave us Nystatin. It didn't do anything for her. I gave her some yogurt and it was gone in 3 days.
I wasn't BFing at the time, so I didn't have it. But I would say put some on a breast pad and cover your nipples

Plain, flavorless yogurt. The less sugar the better. Don't need to keep feeding the yeast. Good Luck.
I've also heard garlic works well too. Make a paste out of it, and do the same with the breast pad

Gentain Violet can also be used, you can get it at a health food or herb store.
I used it when we had thrush, we had it so bad ahh just thinking about it making me cringe.
It doesnt taste good though.

Yeah I feel for my son. I have it too. He threw up in my mouth. Lucky me. Anyways going to go boil paci and bottle nipples. I just found some info on yogurt, raw apple cidar vinegar (not sure on spelling). Anyways but I have pain in my chest because he won't stop nursing. OUCH.

Both of these remedies.

I always use yogurt for yeast infections of my lady parts and it clears it up.

Also, OP, if you use a pacifier, make sure you boil them! My son is bottle fed and I boil his bottles and pacifiers once a day.

Yeah I just boiled. Threw everything in the wash and added vinegar. Washing my nursing pads with vinegar. Hubby picked up some yogurt. My throat is killing me. I am going to try and stay away from sugar.   But I saw that using baking soda as a mouth wash works. So I did that. I swabbed baby's mouth with baking soda and also swabbed with apple cider vinegar. I have been busy doing everything I can. He hardly uses bottles but the few that he has I boiled with his paci.

This too! I used it when we both had thrush, worked amazingly! Just be prepared to have a baby that looks like they ate barney, it stains very very bad.

Many Women have this Thrush problem. I have heard that Fluconazole Capsules are really good for preventing thrush and fungal infections.
