I need advise from other moms! :)

posted 9th Feb
I have a baby who just turned 14 months old, this is my 1st baby so I am learning as I go. I know a lot of you Moms have a lot more experience than I do. So I am wondering if any of you have some advise for me.

I need to know, do any of you know any magic way to get your 14 month old to keep their pants and diapers on?

So far the only thing that works is the one piece thing with feet that zips(sleep n play). Other than that he can get anything off!

For diapers, I put them on the kids backwards. For pants, I don't have much advice because mine never kept ANYTHING on...so I would just let them run around in their t-shirts if we were home.

Try those pull on diapers.

They also have outfits that are one pieces...like a romper, but with long sleeve and pants. .. I guess they are called jump suits?

You can find them all over the place. Other than that, I would just keep him in footie PJs when you are just chilling at home.

With the diaper issue use a onesie or put the diaper on backwards. Or if you are concerned about potty training and diapers (some people think ahead with this) get the diapers that pull up. With the pants aspect I am not so sure because I didn't have that issue when my oldest DD was that age, I am not sure how my youngest DD will be yet.

I have the same problem, but luckily he only does it at home. I just keep him in his PJs at home. He started it at about the same age as your LO, and he is now 19 months, so if you find a solution other than PJs, let me know

We tried a romper today because he likes to walk so we were trying to get him somthing he could use shoes with(he has a hard time getting shoes off) and he tried so hard to unbutton it that he just stretched it all out and got a few buttons undone.

He dose like the footsie things as long as they zip so I ques he will just have to wear them if we go someplace that he needs clothes! LOL

I guess this is all part of toddlerhood

LOL I can just see him at the store naked with shoes on! LOL

If your using cloth, side snapping. He'll still take it off but it's harder to get at.

If your using sposies. Put them on backwards. Or Pull ups.

Jeans are hard to get on and off. And like you said. A sleeper.

Possibly a onesie to hold the diaper on, and I've seen some moms go as far as putting underwear OVER the diaper.
