Hunger problems
posted 9th Feb
So I'm almost 5 weeks, first pregnancy, and I seem to be getting hungry more often, and it causes my stomach to start to hurt a little. Is this something common in women that are almost 5 weeks? I feel like I should be farther along before I start feeling this hungry.

I think the hormonal craziness in very early pregnancy makes "normal" a pretty relative term. For me 6-10 weeks are probably the most intense 'new symptom every day', including hunger, weeks of the entire pregnancy. I'd just do your best to stay comfy through the early symptoms and not worry about it. By all means, if baby needs a cheeseburger and a milkshake, go nuts!

Maybe it is a mind thing? You know your pregnant, and the whole "eating for two" thing? I was always to sick to be hungery around then lol. Now I feel like I am starving all the time though. I'd say if your hungery eat. Your body probably needs the calories for all the changes your starting to go through. Just eat smaller snacks more often, and try to eat healthy. My first pregnancy I ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, and I gained 70lbs One year after the baby was born I had only lost about 50lbs, and I worked my ass off for that much.

At around that time i would eat then an hour later my stomach would literally be rumbling like it was empty and i was starving it was strange then not long later after saying oh i don't have no morning sickness all hell broke loose and i couldn't eat a thing without it coming back up.
